Alabi played for Florida State between 2007 and 2010, he was selected by the Dallas Mavericks before being traded immediately to the Toronto Raptors in the 2010 NBA draft, unable to establish himself within the first team, Alabi has had stints playing in the D’league, he was also a member of the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Hornets pre-season team this summer.
