Adeyemi Makanjuola has come a long way from his days as a youngster with the Police Rookies program in Lagos, Nigeria. He moved to America in 2010 to complete his High School education, then later signed for NCAA D1 program University of Tennessee. Now coming to the end of his Sophomore campaign, the 6’9 power forward has gained a nice reputation as a defensive power house for the Volunteers this season. Although still yet to break into the starting five of Coach Cuozo Martin’s team, Yemi has shown good indication that he might be ready to take on a bigger role next season.
